Precious Fur offers a professional team of in-home cat sitters that your cats will love and you can trust.
Our sitters will be there to pet, feed, play, and clean up after your cat while you're gone and will send you updates and pictures with every visit. We are bonded and insured, offer FREE initial consultations, and utilize a convenient client portal for scheduling, detailed care instructions, client communications and payment.
We take care of kitties in the Marina and Cow Hollow, FIDI, North Beach, Russian Hill, the Richmond, Pacific Heights and Nob Hill,
the Sunset, Haight and the Panhandle, Mid-Market, SOMA and Rincon, the Mission, Noe and Castro, Potrero and Mission Bay,
Bernal, Forest Park and Ingleside neighborhoods of San Francisco; as well as neighborhoods in the East Bay including Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Rockridge/Piedmont.

Services and Rates
All sits include loving your kitty, feeding, providing fresh water, scooping the litter box, and daily updates with pictures sent through the client portal. Depending on how much time is left, your sitter will also play with your cat, spend time brushing, or anything else that makes your cat feel like they are in their fur-miliar environment. We can also pick up mail, take out the trash, rotate lights, water plants, or any other simple duties around the house.

Initial Consult
Free!*
New Client? We will visit your home to meet the kitties and you, pick up 2 sets of keys (if applicable), and review your client profile together to ensure we have all the information we need to properly care for your furry family.

Sitter Meet & Greet
$20
We will work with you to schedule a time for your sitter to come to your home to meet you and your kitty before your trip begins.
Key Pick-Up or Drop-Off
$15
If your home requires key access and you can not leave them in a lockbox on your property or on file with us, we will pick-up or drop-off your keys at your convenience.
Last Minute Booking
$10 per service
Need a cat sitter last minute? We charge a small fee for sits booked within 48 hours of the start of the sit window.*
*Sitter Meet & Greets, Key Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs, and all types of sits may be subject to this fee.
Medication
$4 per sit
Pills, oral liquid, eye drops, transdermal gel, and inhaler only.
There is no charge for mixing medication with food.
Holidays
$10 per sit
MLK Jr. Day Wknd (Sat-M), President's Day Wknd (Sat-M), Memorial Day Wknd (Sat-M), Independence Day & Shadow Day (7/3-7/4/2023), Labor Day Wknd (Sat-M), Thanksgiving Holiday (11/22-26/2023), Christmas Holiday (12/23-27/2023), and New Year's Eve and Day.
Key Duplication
$25
If your home requires keys to gain entry and you are unable to provide us with 2 sets of keys before your departure, we can have an additional set made for you to keep at the office.
Miscellaneous Errands
$25
While you are away, if your kitty is running low on litter or food – we are happy to go to the store and pick it up for you. This fee is in addition to reimbursables.
Unplanned Emergency Support
$50 per hour
This includes taking your kitty to the vet, extensive clean-up situations, house emergencies (i.e. waiting time for service persons), or other planned/unplanned travel and visits. This fee is in addition to reimbursables.
Cancellation Policy
Service cancellations made more than 24 hours before the sit window begins will not incur a charge. If the invoice for these has already been paid, the funds will remain on your account as a credit for future use. Refunds are available upon request.
Service cancellations made less than 24 hours before the sit window begins will be charged, as sitters have already planned their days around the sit.
A $20 flat fee will be charged after a payment is 30 days delinquent.
